Dieter Rachuy

Here's a photo of Dieter Rachuy when he visited a Rachuig-Rachui-Rachuy reunion in Clifton a few years ago.  This gives me a chance to correct a mistake I made in my last postings.  Dieter's brother-in-law died recently, not his brother as I said.  We hope his sister and her family are doing well.

  1. Hi Dieter and Family...?

My name is Mark Rachuy (45) I am one of your relatives from the August H. Rachuy branch. As I am sure your aware, August was Ludwigs brother.

I have hit a big frustrating wall with their father, Johann.
It is believed that August & Ludwig are from Johann's second of three marriages. I have information that says Augusts parents died when he was 9. That would put the year at ~1854 of Johanns death.

My gut says that Johann 1st or 3rd marrages changed name to Rachui or Rachuig and moved to Tx.

Do you have any information to help make that connection? Or anything on Rachuys into Poland?

Thanks for your time. Stay in touch.

I'm sending this on my sons gmail, please don't respond to it, I'm sure he will never pass it on. Please use mine, above.

I have a ton of paperwork that was hand written by Augusts Son's Daughter If you are interested. She is still with us!
