My thanks go to Robert Rachuig, son of A. W. Rachuig and grandson of Rudolph 'Rube' Rachuig, for sending me these photos of his branch of the Rachuig family.
The following photo shows Robert's uncle Edwin Bewe ('E. B.') and his wife Winnie. E. B. was younger brother to Robert's father, A. W. Rachuig.
The next photo shows their family in the mid-1950s. I'm not sure if they lived in Clifton or not.
This last photo shows E. B.'s and A. W.'s parents, Rudolph ('Rube') and Huldina Ickert Rachuig, who lived all their lives in Clifton.
We have a new addition to Rudolph 'Rube' & Huldina Rachuig branch of the family. He is Jedidiah David McNeil, born on July 9th. He weighed 9 lbs. 6 ozs. He was 21 inches long.
Little Jed's parents are Jessica (Hein) & John McNeil.
Jessica is the daughter of Layton & Sheri Hein (grandparents).
Sheri is the daughter of Robert & Joyce Rachuig (great-grandparents).
Robert is the son of A. W. & Lurlyne Rachuig (great-great-grandparents).
A. W. was the son of Rudolph & Huldina Rachuig (great-great-great-grandparents).
Rudolph was the son of August & Henrietta Rachuig (g-g-g-g-grandparents).
Here's a picture of the new addition with his first counsins (I think). (Update) Sheri Rachuig Hein has told me her new grandson is posing with his brother and sister. I didn't realize John & Jessica already had children.

Robert Rachuig game me this picture of his grandparents when we met at the 2009 reunion. They are Rudolph 'Rube' Otto Rachuig and Huldina Ickert Rachuig. Rube was the 8th child and 5th son of August and Henrietta.
My mother and I think this picture was taken in the mid 1950s when Clifton celebrated it's frontier days. Notice Huldina is wearing a bonnet. My cousin Bob Bass and I (Chuck Kelly) visited during the celebrations with our grandmonter, Mamie Adams Rachuig. (We stayed with Jack and Evelyn Rachuig Belcher.)
Many of our male relatives grew beards, so they'd look like frontiersmen. We were just 5 years old and not used to men with beards. They got a big kick out of yelling 'BOOO' and chasing us around the house.
