I showed this photo to Lanelle Schminke Sonntag (granddaughter of Lydia Rachuig Schminke) and she recognized the location immediately. It's her grandmother's house on Avenue D in Clifton, Texas. Five of August and Henrietta's children appear in this picture. From left to right: Rube Rachuig, August Rachuig (?), Lydia Rachuig Schminke/Larson, Richard Rachuig, and Julius Rachuig. The date was December 16, 1924. (It's stamped on the back.)
I have a couple more photos from this family gathering. I'll post them in the future.
