This is a photograph of Henrietta with her grandchildren. I've checked my records and I think these are Albert Rube Bernhardt (b 1902) and Marie Henrietta Bernhardt (b 1904). They are the children of Alvina Amelia Rachuig Bernhardt, 6th child and 3rd daughter of Henrietta and August. The birth dates of these grandchildren seem to fit to me.
If anyone has later photos of Albert and Marie, we may be able to confirm or disprove my hunch.
ReplyDeleteI have more photos but I can't figure out how to post them yet! But I have this same photo of just Henriette by herself and its the original so I bet those kids are Albert and Marie. As soon as I can figure out how to post photos I'll add a bunch more! My brother Mike Bernhardt is supposed to be sending me the info that Dieter brought with him!
